Lazy Cat Hotel & Spa – Terms & Conditions

Lazy Cat Hotel & Spa is committed to providing a clean, calm, and secure environment for all cats in our care. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Eligibility for Admission

To ensure the health and safety of all feline guests:

  • Cats must be at least 3 months old.
  • Cats must be vaccinated for Rabies, Leukemia, and FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia).
  • Cats must be free of contagious diseases, fleas, ticks, and ear mites.
  • Cats must receive flea and tick prevention at least 48 hours before arrival.
  • Male cats over 9 months must be neutered.
  • Female cats must not be in heat at the time of check-in.
  • Cats must be clean and odor-free upon arrival. Cats that arrive visibly dirty, matted, or in poor condition may be declined.
  • Cats must be generally non-aggressive. We reserve the right to refuse entry to cats that display behavioral issues during their stay.

2. Behavior, Aggression & Removal Policy

  • We reserve the right to refuse or remove any cat that poses a risk to itself, staff, or other guests.
  • In such cases, the owner will be contacted and must arrange pickup within 4 hours.
  • All related expenses (transport, extended stay, damages) will be charged to the owner.
  • Cats not collected within 24 hours of their scheduled checkout time without communication will be considered abandoned. Legal action will be pursued and all costs incurred will be recovered from the owner.

3. Special Needs & Medication

  • We accept cats with special needs or on medication only if disclosed in advance.
  • Owners must provide written instructions and dosing details.
  • While we strive to follow instructions carefully, Lazy Cat Hotel is not liable for adverse reactions or health events related to pre-existing conditions or medications.

4. Medical Emergencies

  • In case of illness or emergency, we will contact the owner or emergency contact first.
  • If unreachable and veterinary care is deemed urgent, we will take the cat to a licensed vet.
  • All medical and transport costs will be billed to the owner, including follow-up care.

5. Booking, Payment & Cancellation

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
  • The balance is due at check-in.
  • 100% prepayment is required during holiday periods (e.g. New Year, Songkran).

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancel 15+ days before check-in → Full refund
  • Cancel 7–14 days before check-in → 50% refund
  • Cancel less than 7 days before check-in → No refund
  • No refunds for shortened stays after check-in

6. Check-In, Check-Out & Late Policy

  • Standard check-in and check-out times: 11:00–16:00
  • Early or late check-in/out is available from 08:00–11:00 and 16:00–19:00 for an additional flat fee of ฿150.
  • Before 08:00 or after 19:00, a full extra night’s fee will apply.
  • Unannounced late arrivals may result in denied entry.

7. Items to Bring

Owners must provide the following at check-in:

  • Valid vaccination record
  • Copy of passport or ID
  • Your cat’s food and treats (optional food available at ฿100/day)
  • Any required medications with clear written instructions
  • Optional comfort items (e.g. blanket, toy, bed)

8. Spa & Grooming Terms

  • Spa services are by appointment only.
  • Vaccinations must be up to date.
  • Payment is due in advance or at drop-off.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
  • If your cat shows signs of extreme stress or aggression, services may be paused or stopped for safety.
  • Lazy Cat Hotel is not liable for minor cuts, stress, or skin reactions resulting from grooming.

Add-On Services & Rates (Per Cat):

  • Brushing (per session): ฿250 – Deep brushing for coat health and shedding control
  • Food (optional): ฿100/day – Premium wet and dry food, with brand options available
  • Nail trimming: ฿100 – Gentle claw care
  • Ear & eye cleaning: ฿150 – Safe, vet-approved cleansing

9. Liability & Post-Checkout Responsibility

  • While we uphold the highest hygiene and safety standards, all cats are boarded at the owner’s risk.
  • Lazy Cat Hotel is not liable for illness, injury, escape, or death unless due to proven negligence.
  • Our responsibility ends at the time of check-out, once the cat is transferred to the owner or an authorized representative.
  • We strongly encourage owners to check their cat thoroughly at pick-up.
  • We do not take responsibility for health issues, injuries, or behavior changes noticed after check-out.

10. Legal Compliance & Abandonment

  • Abandoning animals is a criminal offense under the Thai Animal Welfare Act B.E. 2557.
  • If a cat is not picked up within 24 hours of the agreed time without any communication, it will be deemed abandoned.
  • Lazy Cat Hotel will initiate legal action and recover all expenses, including housing, medical, and legal fees.

11. Media & Promotion

  • We may take photos or videos of cats during their stay or grooming sessions for safety documentation or promotional purposes.
  • If you do not wish your cat to appear on our social media or marketing, please inform us in writing.

12. Agreement to Terms

By booking or using any Lazy Cat Hotel & Spa services, the owner acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Lazy Cat Hotel reserves the right to amend this policy without prior notice.
